|  LASER CUTTING

We can use laser-cutting to produce many forms and pieces, such as framework constructions, model facades and cross sections, logos and text, metal brackets and front panels, both for prototype constructions and for mass production.

LASER CUTTING  |

- Highest precision and reproducibility

- Optimized material use; waste is minimized

- Very short delivery times

- Very economic

APPROPRIATE MATERIALS |

- Plexiglass, polystyrene, Depron, wood, metals (aluminum, copper, silver, gold, titanium), textiles leather, foils, Nirosta (stainless steel), carbon fibers, diamond panels…

- Some materials are inappropriate for laser cutting, such as PVC, which is carcinogenic.

- Plexiglas and wood up to 12-15 mm thick, polystyrene up to 5 mm, metals from 0.01 to 2.00 mm

- The maximum path for the cutting equipment is 1400x1000mm (for metals 400x400mm).

- Please get in contact with us. We would be happy to advise you.

- We are able to cut almost any material, using pulsed and continuous Nd:YAG and CO2-lasers. We can engrave almost any surface using the lasers. We can imprint patterns, grid, texts, etc.

WHAT DATA DO WE NEED FROM YOU? |

- Data saved as *.dxf, *.dwg oder *.3dm - format from a CAD program. (AutoCAD, IntelliCAD, QCAD, ArchiCAD, Rhinoceros, Microstation, MAYA, ProEngineer, CATIA, CorelDraw)

- All units must be given in millimeters. Furthermore, we need a reference measurement for a piece from your sketch, so that we can ensure that we have no problems scaling the model.

- All contours must be drawn using single lines; please do not use double or triple lines.

You must also note that all lines must be connected and trimmed. We recommend drawing your contours using polylines.

HOW CAN THE COST OF CUTTING BE LOWERED?  |

- Cutting synthetics is cheaper than cutting metals. Cutting thinner materials is cheaper than cutting thicker materials. Each material used requires preparation and handling time, so it is more efficient to use fewer different types of materials.

THE BEST WAY TO PREPARE YOUR DATA  |

- Draw all pieces that need to be cut from the same material together in the same file. If you need more than one copy of the same article, copy it as often as you need it onto the file. Frame all pieces that are to be cut from the same material within a rectangle, and write below the box what material should be used. You can save more than one material in a file. You can e-mail us the file, or bring it to us. We will also scan in hand-drawn images.
